(대상 26:12-28) [12] 이상은 다 문지기의 반장으로서 그 형제처럼 직임을 얻어 여호와의 성전에서 섬기는 자들이라 [13] 각 문을 지키기 위하여 그의 조상의 가문을 따라 대소를 막론하고 다 제비 뽑혔으니 [14] 셀레먀는 동쪽을 뽑았고 그의 아들 스가랴는 명철한 모사라 모사를 위하여 제비 뽑으니 북쪽을 뽑았고 [15] 오벧에돔은 남쪽을 뽑았고 그의 아들들은 곳간에 뽑혔으며 [16] 숩빔과 호사는 서쪽을 뽑아 큰 길로 통한 살래겟 문 곁에 있어 서로 대하여 파수하였으니 [17] 동쪽 문에 레위 사람이 여섯이요 북쪽 문에 매일 네 사람이요 남쪽 문에 매일 네 사람이요 곳간에는 둘씩이며 [18] 서쪽 뜰에 있는 큰 길에 네 사람 그리고 뜰에 두 사람이라 [19] 고라와 므라리 자손의 문지기의 직책은 이러하였더라 [20] 레위 사람 중에 아히야는 하나님의 전 곳간과 성물 곳간을 맡았으며 [21] 라단의 자손은 곧 라단에게 속한 게르손 사람의 자손이니 게르손 사람 라단에게 속한 가문의 우두머리는 여히엘리라 [22] 여히엘리의 아들들은 스담과 그의 아우 요엘이니 여호와의 성전 곳간을 맡았고 [23] 아므람 자손과 이스할 자손과 헤브론 자손과 웃시엘 자손 중에 [24] 모세의 아들 게르솜의 자손 스브엘은 곳간을 맡았고 [25] 그의 형제 곧 엘리에셀에게서 난 자는 그의 아들 르하뱌와 그의 아들 여사야와 그의 아들 요람과 그의 아들 시그리와 그의 아들 슬로못이라 [26] 이 슬로못과 그의 형제는 성물의 모든 곳간을 맡았으니 곧 다윗 왕과 가문의 우두머리와 천부장과 백부장과 군대의 모든 지휘관이 구별하여 드린 성물이라 [27] 그들이 싸울 때에 노략하여 얻은 물건 중에서 구별하여 드려 여호와의 성전을 개수한 일과 [28] 선견자 사무엘과 기스의 아들 사울과 넬의 아들 아브넬과 스루야의 아들 요압이 무엇이든지 구별하여 드린 성물은 다 슬로못과 그의 형제의 지휘를 받았더라
(NIV11) [12] These divisions of the gatekeepers, through their leaders, had duties for ministering in the temple of the Lord, just as their relatives had. [13] Lots were cast for each gate, according to their families, young and old alike. [14] The lot for the East Gate fell to Shelemiah.* Then lots were cast for his son Zechariah, a wise counselor, and the lot for the North Gate fell to him. / *A variant of Meshelemiah [15] The lot for the South Gate fell to Obed-Edom, and the lot for the storehouse fell to his sons. [16] The lots for the West Gate and the Shalleketh Gate on the upper road fell to Shuppim and Hosah. Guard was alongside of guard: [17] There were six Levites a day on the east, four a day on the north, four a day on the south and two at a time at the storehouse. [18] As for the court* to the west, there were four at the road and two at the court* itself. / *The meaning of the Hebrew for this word is uncertain. [19] These were the divisions of the gatekeepers who were descendants of Korah and Merari. [20] Their fellow Levites were* in charge of the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries for the dedicated things. / *Septuagint; Hebrew As for the Levites, Ahijah was [21] The descendants of Ladan, who were Gershonites through Ladan and who were heads of families belonging to Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli, [22] the sons of Jehieli, Zetham and his brother Joel. They were in charge of the treasuries of the temple of the Lord. [23] From the Amramites, the Izharites, the Hebronites and the Uzzielites: [24] Shubael, a descendant of Gershom son of Moses, was the official in charge of the treasuries. [25] His relatives through Eliezer: Rehabiah his son, Jeshaiah his son, Joram his son, Zikri his son and Shelomith his son. [26] Shelomith and his relatives were in charge of all the treasuries for the things dedicated by King David, by the heads of families who were the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, and by the other army commanders. [27] Some of the plunder taken in battle they dedicated for the repair of the temple of the Lord. [28] And everything dedicated by Samuel the seer and by Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner and Joab son of Zeruiah, and all the other dedicated things were in the care of Shelomith and his relatives.
◈성구 : (대상 26:13) 각 문을 지키기 위하여 그의 조상의 가문을 따라 대소를 막론하고 다 제비 뽑혔으니

◈성전 문지기는 므셀레먀 가문 18명, 오벧에돔 가문 62명, 호사가문 13명으로 총 93명이다. 포로귀환 이후에는 212명으로 증가했음을 알 수 있다(9:22). 문지기를 세울 때도 가문의 숫자를 고려하지 않고 제비를 뽑아 결정했다. 므셀레먀 가족은 동쪽 문(6명)과 북쪽 문 (4명)을 맡았다. 특히 동쪽 문은 6명을 세운 것으로 보아 가장 중요한 것으로 보인다. 오벧에돔의 가족은 남쪽 문(4명)과 곳간(2명씩 2곳)을 맡았다. 호사 가족은 서쪽문(4명)과 뜰(2명)을 맡았다. 문지기들은 매일 24명씩 교대로 돌아가면서 직책을 감당했다. 특히 16절의 숩빔은 명단에 없는 것으로 보아 곳간(아숩핌)을 잘못 필사한 것으로 보인다. 하나님께 쓰임받는 것처럼 놀라운 일은 없다.

◈20~28절까지는 성전 곳간을 맡은 사람들을 기록하고 있다. 20절의 아히야는 명단에 없는 것으로 보아 사람의 이름이 아니라 ‘그들의 형제’라고 해석하는 것이 옳다. 성전에는 제사 성물을 모아 놓는 하나님의 전 곳간과 하나님께 드린 전리품을 모은 성물 곳간이 있다. 여히엘리의 아들들은 성전 곳간을 맡았다. 스브엘도 곳간을 맡았다. 모세의 둘째 아들 엘리에셀의 아들 르하뱌 자손들은 성물의 모든 곳간을 맡았다. 보물 창고로 다윗왕과 지휘관들이 드린 성물로 솔로몬의 성전이 아름답게 지어졌다. 그 창고가 얼마가 컸을지 상상이 된다. 내가 가진 것은 내 것이 아니다. 하나님이 진정한 소유주이시다. 하나님의 것을 하나님께 드릴 수 있음이 축복이다.
